I've noticed in recent builds that nwamamd show-events will not log it's output
to a file:
$ nwamadm show-events > /tmp/events.log 2>&1 & tail -f /tmp/events.log
Nothing is output at all to the log file, while if you let it run to a terminal
or tty, then it outputs text correctly.
I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but this restriction certainly shouldn't
be there since it limits the ability to keep a log of events.
