--- Comment #4 from Anurag S. Maskey <Anurag.Maskey at Sun.COM> 2009-10-26 17:15:03 UTC --- In discussions, it was decided that nwamd should not be adding BSSIDs to the known WLAN entries if the user did not ask for a specific BSSID. This means that in the case of nwamadm, BSSIDs will be added to the selected known WLAN because the user is selecting a specific ESSID+BSSID combination from the choices. However, for the GUI, the user is only selecting the ESSID, so the BSSID will not be added. The GUI test case has to change accordingly. The implications of the above decision is also that when we find the best WLAN to connect to, we should not be adding the BSSID to the known WLAN. The BSSID will not show up unless it is explicitly added by the user (via nwamcfg or advanced GUI options). -- Configure bugmail: http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
