I think we would probably make the default to not add the WLAN to the favorites
list, but I can see arguments either way. (One being that Mac and Windows do
add by default, IIRC.)
Thinking about it again, though, am I right in saying that the Join Wireless
Network dialog will not always appear when you select a WLAN and click the
Connect button? (E.g. when selecting/joining an Open network?)
If that's still the case, I think we should stick with what the UI spec
originally intended, but didn't clearly specify. That is:
* The Add to Favorites checkbox in the Connect to Wireless Network dialog
applies only to the network that you're about to join by clicking the Join
Unlisted or Connect buttons.
* The Add to Favorites checkbox should be hidden in the Join Wireless Network
dialog that appears when you click the Join Unlisted or Connect buttons. (I
will update the UI spec to clarify this.)
* If you right click on NWAM icon, and select Join Unlisted Network, the Add to
Favorites checkbox will always be unchecked by default. (I will update the UI
spec to clarify the default state of the checkbox, which is currently
undefined.)
Anyone disagree?
