Ok I have spent some time with this now and wanted to thank people for their work on it. At least 2 of the major extreme conditions wifi needs to deal with are ubiquity and resilience. Being able to focus on a single AP is huge for the latter problem.
I don't have a build environment set up for this yet, but after you responded to my post I spent time reading the diffs to look at the code and then deciding to backtrack and put more time into learning what was going on with the project. I realized I needed to get a build environment going on so I am working on doing that now. Thankfully I also just got my internal wireless (iwi) fixed, and can use my pcan card for fun with nwam & dladm now...
