It appears there are a few more initiatives to create de novo general practices along the lines of Babylon. We have been told there is a new one out called Livia (?) Does anyone have any thoughts about the equity of contracts these practices may have? Concerns raised are along the lines that these practice by their nature discriminate against IT illiterate, poor English language, those in need of eg physical examination, smears, vaccines, dressings etc Concerns raised include that the nature of the population who sign up are often those with transient mild illness needing a fix which destabilises the rest of general practice looking after and caring for remaining and often high complex groups without any commensurate funding to take this into account?
