Hello, I probably should have popped by and written a note about this before now, apologies!
I just wanted to point you towards Rails Underground, a Rails conference being held in London in July. Hopefully you will already have heard about it, and I hope you will like it and want to get involved... We are looking for speakers, so if you have ideas for a proposal, please check out our speaker proposals page! The are already some great speakers attending - DHH will be available for a videoconference session, Yehuda Katz, Geoffrey Grosenbach, Dr Nic, Jason Hoffman and Maik Schmidt are already on the list, and a couple more speakers are lined up. If you check again next week, there will be some more names you will probably recognise. If you can't come to the conference, I've also been posting some chat transcripts with some of the speakers, and have a few more lined up. I also have a room booked for the day before the main event, that I'm hoping to make use of for a hackfest, workshop or tutorial type thing. I need a bit of help with that, though, I think. If you've got any ideas or suggestions on talks, events, activities etc, please give me a shout. There is also a uservoice forum for suggesting or offering opinions on the talks at http://railsunderground.uservoice.com/ Thanks!
