Apologies for the awful pun in the subject. Couldn't resist. I was wondering if any of you had any experience with Rhodes: http://rhomobile.com/products/rhodes/
I know there are some mobile devs here :-) and this fascinates me for all sorts of reasons on that front, but also it looks like a really interesting Ruby MVC platform generally to be honest. And it's just got better given they've decided - apparently - to make Rhodes 2 available under an MIT license: http://www.infoq.com/news/2010/05/rhodes-2 I'm grabbing gems now, and hope to get time to play with it a bit over the next few weeks. I think the sync server could be pretty valuable to take off the shelf (which they're still selling), but it's not impossible to replicate that functionality by rolling your own.
