Hi all, Just a quick note to say that Madlab has managed to get a large paid hire for the 15th March. Which is great for them! but not for us :(
All is not lost: 1. We will be having a social on the 15th <https://nwrug.org/events/march-2018-social-meetup> from 6:30pm onwards at the Smithfield Tavern, beer and Ruby-related chat on the agenda. 2. We already have a good session shaping up on April 19th. We are running a lightning talk session and have 2 (maybe 3) talks lined up already. If you want to do *a quick 15 minute talk on a related subject then drop us a line*. Contributing talks really helps strengthen the Ruby community in Manchester and its also pretty good for raising your profile. Also you will be amongst friends. It's a very safe space to try your hand at public speaking. We will most likely be recording the talks and putting them online (with permission of course). Very useful if you want to speak at other events or put something on your CV.
