Hello NWRUG, Hope you are all well.
My name is Anna Dick (I know quite a few of you already!) and I work for a scale up business (25 people) called Hiring Hub. For those of you that don't know Hiring Hub is it's a B2B marketplace for recruitment with a mission to make people feel better about this industry. I am sure you have all had bad experiences with agencies in the past and it's because of a lot of those frustrations that HH was started. We're looking for a Sr developer to join our small product team. To help us make some key decisions about our technical estate, shape the future architecture, support the team and contribute to incrementally create a great user focused product. As with many small (6) young teams there are lots of opportunities to get involved in all areas of the stack and develop new skills. We work as lean as we can and keep process to 'just enough' to get stuff done. There's a lot of pairing and recently some mobbing (if 4 counts as a mob!) as we work through some complex new problems. Our stack is rails based and we are slowly modernising it. Some immediate thing we will be progressing this summer include fully moving our frontend to React and containerising our infrastructure. Based in the NQ we are open to some remote days if needed. Depending on experience pay is up to 55-60k. Find out more detail on the job - https://www.hiring-hub.com/joinus/, more info about what's the team been up to - https://blog.hiring-hub.com/category/product-tech/ or drop me an email if you're interested to know more.
