Hi. I'm curious if you have had any reports of this. I cannot seem to
determine a pattern for how/why this is happening. It is very intermittent.

In my testing of different conf file variations, I will Stop the nxlog service,
and then Start it again (obviously, doing this many times as I tweak things).
On a fairly regular basis (maybe 40% of the time), it will simply fail to
start. I get the progress dialog, as though it is "trying to start", but after
the standard 30 second wait time, I get the "couldn't start" error:
Windows could not start the nxlog service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a
timely fashion.

And each time that I get this error, I simply "OK" out of the error dialog, and
issue a Start again, and it _always_ starts immediately, with no issues at all.
And it's not tied to any conf file errors, as most of the time, there won't
have been any errors. The Windows Event log is no help, as it simply has the
same information that you get in the pop-up.

It's only an annoyance for me, when I'm testing. I'm more concerned that it
will happen during reboots of production systems, and that those servers will
come up with no log forwarding service running.

Let me know if there is some sort of specific information that I could provide,
that would help to better understand what might be happening.

THANKS for your time and help.

(This is all with 2.4.1054)
