Is there a specific version of pcre that's needed?
checking pcre.h usability... no
checking pcre.h presence... no
checking for pcre.h... no
configure: error: please install pcre-dev
I have both pcre-8.12p0 and pcre++-0.9.5p1 installed.
# find / -name pcre.h
/usr/local/include/pcre.h
This fails on all of my OpenBSD 5.0-5.3 boxes.
