Yes, that's correct.

nxlog checks the inode, size and modification time of the file to
determine whether it has been rotated or truncated.
It is possible that a log file rotation is not detected in case this check
fails. This may be some platform specific issue.

It would be great if you could provide a test case with a simplified
nxlog.conf and a script that does the rotation which can be used to
reproduce the issue.
