Botond has previously stated, in relation to a similar enquiry:
The nxlog-ce_2.8.1248_amd64.ubuntu.deb is for 12.04.
You need to rebuild from the source if you need a deb for 14.04.
We will be providing a binary package for 14.04 shortly.
