I recommend you check out Superpass.com since with each antenna, they 
show you the pattern of the signal. Generally, directional are used 
for point to point links or highly focused areas of coverage. And 
wide angle, to cover as much as possible.

look at dbiplus.com. I have antennas from both, and consider them 
both very good.

If you want to pay extra for a brand name, go ahead. Otherwise, check 
out Superpass and Poynting (dpiplus.com) antennas.
