Sorry to post this again, but the first person couldn't make it. I'll extend the offer by a couple of days. This will be last post I make about this to the list.
BTW - Last time I posted, the subject was "non-working laptop parts", and I should clarify that they're more than likely working PARTS, but not working as a complete unit (i.e.: the mainboards should start up if you apply power). Thanks for your patience, Jeff ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Thu, 11 Jul 2002 19:39:02 -0400 (EDT) From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Old, non-working laptop parts for the asking Hey folks. I'm about to trash a few old 485/586 (133Mhz and below) NON-WORKING toshiba laptop parts. I figure I'd offer them up in case someone wants to try to create something. At the very least, you'll get: three mainboards with CPU, PCMCIA sockets, and some minimal built-in memory. You won't get: any LCD, HDDs, or batteries, and perhaps not even the full case. Oh, okay... I'll put in a small HDD. Perhaps someone can do something useful with one of these things... perhaps a headless AP or relay station or something. Rules: The first email I receive gets it all. You must pick it up at my place (near madison square PARK) before the end of Sunday 7/14. If I get no response by then, it's trash.
