Hey Gerald and all,

         I would hopefully be able to sign up for satellite service through StarBand 
or DirectTV then set a standalone repeater on the boat. :-)

        As per having sea-legs, I'm afraid not... but my laptop is vomit resistant. 
;-) And you think I'm kidding... it's a Panasonic Toughbook.
