People,
I just saw a short clip on CNN, about the "so called" wireless cloud in
Athens, GA (that's where Univ. of Georgia exists). The first thing that
came to mind was: How is the "wireless cloud" in Athens, GA any
different than the hotspots/hotzones all over the world? Anybody on the
lists know more about this?
The other interesting part about the clip was that the people who fall
under the "cloud" such as a shoemaker, have no interest whatsoever in
this type of stuff. The man who owns the shoe store said ...what am I
going to do with it? :-)

It looks like CNN folks don't drive too far from Atlanta to get their
"interesting" stories...Athens is about an hour away. No offense against
people in Athens (I graduated from GSU in Atlanta, and used to drive to
Athens for a lot of keg parties), but I fail to see how this is
interesting enough to make it to CNN. Next time you folks out there look
at your wireless network, look for a silver lining. You might just
qualify for a state-of-the-art wireless cloud. Heck, maybe you'll be on
CNN!!!
