(quick commentary: I'm all for enteprenuerialism, but isn't this list 
about empowering people with knowledge about how to accomplish these 
things themselves, and not just advertisement of services? If we just 
wanted to pay for all of this, we'd all go out and sign up for Boingo 
and T-Mobile. I'd say future advertisement should at least include some 
free advice, as well.)

The answer Frank is, that if both AP's are connected via eithernet to a 
gateway/router (with NAT, DHCP, etc giving you multiple IPs) in front of 
the DSL line, then you can set the same SSID for both, and everything 
should be fine.

If you are trying to bridge the two APs (with one connected via 
ethernet) and the second farther away piggybacking off the first via 
802.11b, then that is a very different setup (and maybe you should call 
Chris Hale).
