NYCwireless works actively with businesses, government agencies, and
non-profit organizations to help develop free wireless Internet access
throughout the New York metropolitan area.

Ways to Sponsor NYCwireless
NYCwireless accepts donations directly or through our PayPal account
([EMAIL PROTECTED]). Donations can also be accepted by mail at
NYCwireless, 331 West 57th St, Suite 556, New York, NY, 10019. Please
use check or money order. A receipt for your tax-deductible donation
will be mailed to the address you provide.
Cash donations to NYCwireless can be directed either toward our general
fund or towards specific programs and projects. Our current program
areas and projects include:

* Education - holding classes, workshops, development of Internet
training materials, hardware library
* Advocacy - travel to FCC hearings, preparation and distribution of
position papers
* Emergency Communications Network - working with city and other user
groups to create a wireles backbone for emergency use
