Before I turn my Verizon clients on to this...does anyone know if a person who has a router which handles PPPoE would prevent a PowerBook user from being able to use the Wi-Fi phonebooths in NYC?
For instance, does a Powerbook user have to disconnect thier router (which handles PPPoE authentication) before heading out to the street to use the new Wi-Fi phonebooths?
Also, this is not an Apple specific question, so anyone with PCs can comment on this.
Don, I will hopefully try this tomorrow with an iBook. I'll let you know.
Michael
Thanks, Don
