I am looking to share my wifi connection; here is my current todo list,
and a couple questions below:

- Captive portal so users accept a simple AUP (NoCatAuth / NoCatAuthSplash)?
- Want to be able to cover a slice of Washington Square Park
- Can buy some equipment
- Antenna would be mounted outside a 5th fl window
- Have a Linux box available (Tower, no wifi card)
- Have an existing LinkSys WAP11 AP
- Setup of QOS/bandwidth limiting per connection (future)
- Setup of MRTG/Wifi network stats (future)

Waiting on DSL but it should be hooked up real soon (likely next week).
Have existing connectivity to be able to start exploring.

Q: Anyone up for doing a quick site survey to see what coverage I can get,
and what equipment would be ideal for my location pls e-mail me off the list.

Q: What captive portals are the best to use, anything else out there
other then NoCatAuth*?

Q: What would my network look like?
[Antenna]---[LinkSys]---[LinuxBox]---[Switch]---[DSLModem]?

Q: Any recommendations on a good webcam that works well pointed
outside? (cheap ones, no wifi cams, USB or cat5)
