ok the basic deal is that it's pretty much just like a CompTIA cert
(A+,Network+,Security+) but for wireless ... originally i really felt like
not getting bogged down with certificates because they were costly but the
literature + study guides on both CWNA + CWSP are very good reads to get up
to speed quick on everything ... just a personal opinion.

basically its like ~$200 for 70 questions + of course it goes into planet3
wireless's pocket + there are a number of places offering $2k classes + like
anything when getting a job they are hit and miss but the knowledge is good
... i think there view is that the more companies which hire CWSPs the more
knowledgable they are on security issues, etc.

i think if you look beyond the "what do i get out of it" + think of getting
a higher profile when people look for a group in NYC that it will @ least be
in there for free (http://www.cwne.com/wug/search.php)

im sure george anderson can jump in + describe the program more since he is
a respected instructor in the field ...
