Quick question for the group:

When I see an SSID like "www.nycwireless.net", "tmobile" or "verizon", I
know who the provider of the network is. It looks like some for-pay hotspot
service "resellers" do not use SSIDs that identify the reseller (AT&T
Wireless uses "cometa" because Cometa is the wholesaler).

Is it always the case that Cometa and Wayport hotspots will have "cometa" or
"wayport" ssids, regardless of who the reseller is (whether it be Sprint,
AT&T, etc.)? What about Boingo, for instance -- are there Boingo hotspots
that use "boingo" or something similar as an SSID, or does Boingo generally
resell wayport hotspots with a "wayport" SSID.

Thanks
