while this beautiful ip makes for a nice decoy w/ *map it is also a bad thing to have when diagnosing networking problems/issues sometimes. i had been trying to play around with using static route mapping for detecting rougue aps and had typed a misspelling of my own url by accident + realized the problems relating to simple tools like ping + tracert could affect alot of tools already out there.
error messages will not work as before and you would get some wrong + funky results with things. i realized it would be an issue for email but a bigger issue could be networking utilities. - jon pgp key: http://www.jonbaer.net/jonbaer.asc fingerprint: F438 A47E C45E 8B27 F68C 1F9B 41DB DB8B 9A0C AF47 -- NYCwireless - http://www.nycwireless.net/ Un/Subscribe: http://lists.nycwireless.net/mailman/listinfo/nycwireless/ Archives: http://lists.nycwireless.net/pipermail/nycwireless/
