Today I came across a situation where I didn't want to tie up the PCMCIA slot on my laptop with a wireless card. It seemd to me one should be able to plug a wireless dongle right into the Ethernet adapter. If they can put wireless into a CF card, a dongle doesn't seem like like a much bigger task.
Has anyone seen a wireless client card that attaches to an ethernet port? Is this actually much harder than I imagine (power source, etc).? Let me know.
