Linux support of USB-based devices aren't that great, because
manufacturers tend to choose custom interfaces and not release the specs.
I know some Prism2 USB will work, and there's some beta drivers for the
Hermes USB (ORiNOCO USB).

The only exception to the first line seems to be bluetooth USB dongles.
Apparently the specs for USB<->Bluetooth are well-defined, so it's
actually easier to get stuff working under Linux.
