I'm not 100% sure about compatibility, but something like a jetdirect 380x
should work, and hook directly into the printer. That will run you a couple
hundred (~$200), so it may be a bit more than you want to pay. I've set the
380s up on a variety of machines but never on a 7550, but could help you
with it. Call HP and ask if it will work. Tech support, not sales because
sales lies or has no clue. I'm sure there are other wireless print servers
out there, but I don't have any experience with them.
I personally think they aren't worth the money, run two cables.
HP drivers tend to be a bit finiky with what they connect to, so make sure
you can return a 3rd party print server.
Oh. I'm assuming you're running PCs not macs right?

Subject: [nycwireless] Wireless Print Server

I am running a Orinoco BG-2000 in my home and i want a way to connect my HP
7550 Photo Printer to my two laptops. I was told i needed a device called a
print serve. COuld you all recommend some good ones that might work with my
wireless network without breaking the proverbial bank.

Thanks

Tim
