Does anyone have a suggestion for the best value in a wireless card for a pda? has a cf type 2 slot. They all seem to have an internal antenna. on a pda does it seem to make any sense to get an 802.11g as most all cards seem to be "b" compliant? Does anyone still use bluetooth, and would he be likely to encounter it on the road? Prices on the cards seem to run from $60 to $180. see, e.g.. http://www.expansys.us/d_wireless.asp What features should I look for? -this is an xmas present for my son, I do not have a pda but he does- will use it with his pda to check his email and surf from home, and also on the job. He travels extensively for work throughout us, Mexico and Europe. Software tech for a custom software concern.
Thanks for replying to this slightly off topic "newbie" type question. Fred . -- NYCwireless - http://www.nycwireless.net/ Un/Subscribe: http://lists.nycwireless.net/mailman/listinfo/nycwireless/ Archives: http://lists.nycwireless.net/pipermail/nycwireless/
