Hello all,

I have built a biquad antenna (http://martybugs.net/wireless/biquad/) for my Senao card lately
and wanted to measure SWR for it. SeattleWireless group mentions WLAN Expert's SWR
measurement feature on http://www.seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/SenaoCard but I haven't had
any sucess with even making it work on my Win2000. Description of WLAN E. is on
http://www.allaboutjake.com/network/linksys/wlanexpert.html

All I get is "Can not find the PC card WLAN" error.
I've also found the following pieces of advice on usenet archives:
"it probably wont work because Intel doesn't use the generic drivers
for cards PRISM II with the driver CW10. SYS
with their cards, they use Intel written, ndis specific variants
instead, wla11nd4.sys & wla11nd5.sys etc
btw the same message pops up when wlan expert is run under w2k & XP even
with the Prism cw10.sys driver, most likely because NT/2k/XP wont usually
let software programs access hardware directly"

and also:
"My guess is that wlan expert uses direct I/O to talk to the card. Even in
>98 compatability mode XP won't allow that to happen (I wouldn't think).
>Win2k and newer don't allow direct access to i/o ports (part of the
>definition of a real o/s). You'll probably have to run true windows 98 to
>get it to work."

Does anyone have a clue on how to make it work or do I have to install Win98 :) ?
