I didn't check that on router itself but what I see from router's log is telling me that router is started at let's say few minutes ago, then it renewed ip addresses to hosts and after 10-20 minutes when I hear my friends complaining that they can't connect to file, print server(which are connected to the router by wires) or other wirelessly connected computers I just check the log file and same story again - router started few minutes ago and so on...
I checked the DHCP lease time - it's set on one week, then I set it up for 3 days - no change, still restarts every 10-20 minutes. Then I assigned all the pc's fixed ip addresses associated with their MAC addresses - still restarts. Then I brought down the speed of NIC's of two servers that are connected by wires to 10Mbps/full duplex (as I saw on d-link's web site faq) - stll restarts. I got the newest firmware upgrades, installed them, still the same. I am kind'a out of ideas here - please help. I called tech support - his only idea was to reset the router from behind and see what happens. I'll trie that tomorow but I doubt it'll change anything. I have 18 computers connected (2 by wires) other by d-link pci adapters (also dual band, tri mode as router - 5 of them on G band and 11 on A band) and we are also using netbeui (could that be a problem, should I use it considering the number of pc's connected? I thing I heard it acts best for groups of not more than 10 pc's). PC's are running win2k pro, servers win2k server, only one workgroup, kids play network and it still drives me nuts. Any suggestions (except returning the unit which will happend eventually after I figure out how do I connect my network while waiting for new unit) would be highly appreciated.
