That is actually a pretty sweet idea ...

The one thing I *wish* you had room for on the site was having the ability
to leave a $1 for someone's AP ... the way I think about it even if say 5 or
6 people drop $1 for using someones AP it offsets the cost of having DSL
which would help. Something like PayPal donation ...

I think if you relayed the email address + MAC info you could do it
theoretically. Either way I *know* Id drop a $1 if I ended up using
someones AP for a while.

Subject: [nycwireless] WiFi Thank You

I'd like to announce the availability of WiFiThankYou, a new site I've
developed for the Free Public WiFi community.

http://www.wifithankyou.com

The idea is simple: When you find a Free, Public Wi-Fi network that you
find useful, you can thank them through this website. Its a way to
express your appreciation to the network operator, and to increase your
karma.

Comments/Suggestions are welcome.

Regards,

Dana Spiegel
