Probably not, but you should read up on what [e2]fsck is and why it's 
used.  e2fsck is used to check and repair your filesystem.

Have a look at the man page for fstab, in the section that talks about 
the sixth field of the fstab entries.  Also, look at the -c option of 
the tune2fs command (man tune2fs).  The man pages for fsck and e2fsck 
may also be helpful.
