1) "pre-standard MIMO" is a bit of a misnomer, since 802.11n isn't very old, and the standard probably won't
happen until 2007. A lot can happen.


2) Airgo are the same folks who sold "VOFDM" (which was complete BS) to Cisco for a ton of money. You can expect more (ahem) BS from them. I am not alone in my opinion, either. Some of the *best* minds in MIMO think that Airgo is baloney.

3) MIMO requires a scattering channel. You're not going to use it for point to point links.

4) UDSL won't run at 200Mbps for more than perhaps 100m. VDSL runs at 50Mbps+ out to about 300m.
