Thanks all for the advice. I actually ordered the part from:
http://www.jefatech.com/
And it looks like they shipped it out the same day and it should be here tomorrow!

Um, those are MHF (aka "u.fl") connectors. Metrix claims so here: http://metrix.net/metrix/products/radios/minipci/NL-2511_MP.html
(and we sell the same card here: http://www.netgate.com/EL2511MP.html)
I also have a SMC 4dbi indoor antenna with "universal" connectors shown here: http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?sec=Products&pg=Product- Details&prod=336&site=c
The datasheet says the antenna connector is a "reverse SMA plug".
When the "universal connector" is attempted to be connected to the card as shown here: http://imac.taxrecords.com/misc/connectors.jpg
That appears to be MMCX.
They don't fit one another.
I have no doubt.
Or without the "universal connector" the connection for the antenna is
a Reverse SMA plug. Is there such a thing as a SMA to MMCX connector?
Oh sure, theres anything to anything if you have a soldering iron. :-)
My question here is what do I need to get these connections to work together?
You need a u.fl (or MHF) to Reverse SMA Jack pigtail:
http://www.google.com/search?q=reverse+SMA+u.fl&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
AND on top of that is there anywhere in NYC that would carry something
like this?
Perhaps Greybar in Astoria/Long Island City or Bobs Ham Radio shop, not sure of exact name, down int he East Villiage might have some. Perhaps..
