two-way exchange, the fact that we can only hear half means that we
instinctively tune in, almost as if we're expecting to join in to complete
the conversation."

Eventually there will be cell phone usage in the subways. The question is
not if we should have the service in the subway, but how we may have to
change our habits and develop cell phone etiquette to deal with the growth
of cell phones. How and what calls do we make when there are a lot of other
people around should be an issue that needs to be addressed.
