Project: Wi-Fi Lunchbox (was Sawed-off Cantenna)
Hi:

All these questions about mutiliating a pringles can have to do with this
project I'm working on:
[http://www.sidewayzen.com/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=27|Wi-Fi Lunchbox].

Right now I'm interested in:
# shortening the cantenna to 10"
# finding a really small DSL modem (are there any soekris-able PCMCIA ones out
there)
# manage heat dissipation (especially in the small lunchbox)

Any help is appreciated. I'll post my findings here if can get further with
it.

;:The idea is that you can use any vintage lunchbox you like. The reality--for
the moment-- is that heat is not dissipating enough. So the small one is going
back to the drawing board.

;:This is an Access Point setup for those who know they'll be toting around a
Pringles can or cantenna. The construction worker version is meant to
consolidate all these cables and plugs in a convenient package. The case also
provides a good canvas for artful customization (decals, etc). Still in
development...
