Meeting Accouncement Wed May 25
NYCw Meeting on Wed 4/27 @ 7:30pm
Hello All,
We have our NYCwireless monthly meeting tomorrow. Same time every
month, last Wed of the month. Topic is "The history of bringing HDTV to an
Access Point" by Brian Walden. Brian is an excellent speaker, and this is going
to be a great meeting.
Bring your questions and try to stomp Brian on radio trivia. Grand
Prize is an access point capable of repeating. :-) Thinking points, how we
went from UHV to HDTV to 802.11g, why 802.11g should be able to handle a lot
traffic, why the new HDTV standard is the future but isn't backward compatible
to RV owners (no HDTV for RVers), and more. Come to the meeting....
Help support the NYCwireless cause. We are collecting 2005 membership
dues now. Only $25 includes a NYCwireless email account. Either paypal or bring
a check/cash to the meeting. See the following URL for more details. 1st time
members get a t-shirt and sticker.
