I am using several soekris 4521 boards with smc 2532W-B pcmcia cards running
pebble linux with hostap and am generally satisfied with the operation and
performance. There is just one small detail that keeps nagging at me and that
is why these boxes consistently run pings to adjacent boxes on my network in
excess of 10 ms. Any other standard pc I have configured with various linux
distros consistently return pings of 2-5ms.Does anyone know why the
soekris/pebble combos take 2 to 3 times longer to respond? Is there a fix?
