Hi Dustin,
you are entitled to revise the rules as you see fit but the frequency of
these 'wild violations' is something that does not represent a pattern of
the vast majority of posters. And the recent heated exchanges have been
very informative and I suspect will die down of their own accord.
So, at least from my point of view, no rule change is in order.
