NYCwireless's park hotspots use embedded linux, so when Make profiles
a embedded linux starter kit, it's news:

I love MAKE, but unfortunately, this kit isn't as good as others. It
could use a bigger compact flash card, a better OS, and a better case.
In our outdoor wireless installations, the case would roast in ten
minutes of direct sunlight.
The Metrix and The Wrap Box are good choices:

NYCwireless has used the Metrix boxes. They're nice.
