Design the Official Wireless Internet Access Icon
Do you have what it takes to create an internationally recognized icon?
Wireless hot spots are popping up all over the world, but they're not
always easy to find. WIRED Magazine invites you to create the first-
ever universal icon to represent wireless internet access. Your
winning design will then be produced and distributed throughout New
York during "NY is WIRED" week and at WIRED NextFest, at Javits, in
September.
A judging committee of technology and design leaders will select the
winning design. With the help of NYC Wireless, the design will then
be distributed around the world, helping to kick-start momentum for
global acceptance! The grand prize winner will also receive $250 from
WIRED.
To enter, send your design in vector EPS file format to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the subject line: Wireless Internet
Access Icon Entry. Deadline for entries is September 5, 2006. In the
body of your email include your first and last name, address,
telephone number, and a brief statement about your wireless icon design.
