RED-THROATED LOON RED-NECKED GREBE BRANT EURASIAN WIGEON WHITE-WINGED SCOTER MERLIN NORTHERN GOSHAWK MERLIN RED-NECKED GREBE SANDHILL CRANE BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER SANDERLING DUNLIN WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER RED PHALAROPE LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER BONAPARTE’S GULL LAPLAND LONGSPUR RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET BLUE-HEADED VIREO BOBOLINK Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge (MNWR) and Montezuma Wetlands Complex (MWC) ------------ 10/27: A NORTHERN GOSHAWK was seen on Van Dyne Spoor Road. 3 SANDHILL CRANED were seen in Knox-Marsellus Marsh. 5 species of shorebird were seen at the visitor’s center including WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER and LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER. 10/29: 2 EURASIAN WIGEON were seen in Tschache Pool. St. Lawrence County ------------ 11/1: A RED PHALAROPE was seen at Coles Creek State Park on the St. Lawrence River near Massena. Oneida County ------------ 10/26: A late BOBOLINK was seen in Camden. 10/29: At Sylvan Beach the following were seen. 4 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER, 10 SANDERLING, 2 DUNLIN, 11 BRANT, and 16 BONAPARTE’S GULLS. Onondaga County ------------ 10/30: A NORTHERN GOSHAWK was seen near Northern Lights Shopping center. 10/31: 15 BRANT were seen in the Inner Harbor. Oswego County ------------ 10/31: A late swallow, possibly a CAVE SWALLOW, was seen at Mexico Point. 11/1: At Derby Hill the following birds were seen. WHITE-WINGED SCOTER, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET, BLUE-HEADED VIREO, MERLIN, and LAPLAND LONGSPUR.
