NYbirders,
There has been a cooperative juvenile Thayer's Gull in Ithaca since Saturday
(7 Nov); presumably the same bird was seen on Friday almost 20 miles north
of Ithaca on Cayuga Lake. The bird has been seen at Stewart Park (where it
roosts), the docks at Treman Marine State Park, and the Cornell composting
facility on Stevenson Rd. in Dryden. A few close photos from today are
here: http://picasaweb.google.com/jaegermaster/ThayerSGullIthacaNY#
The bird can be followed on Cayugabirds-l, where updates are regularly
posted.
Cheers,
Tom
