On my early morning hike today at Sunken Meadow State Park I came across a few 
early spring migrants.  Highlights are below.

15+Wood duck- backwater of Sunken Meadow Creek
5 Bufflehead
2 Osprey
1 Great-horned Owl- flushed along Inner Marsh trail
2 Belted Kingfishers
2 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
3 Eastern Phoebe- FOY birds for me
5 Fish Crow
1 Winter wren- along Inner Marsh trail; also singing loudly
25 Golden-crowned Kinglets
1 Hermit Thruh
1 Gray Catbird
3 Eastern towhee
10 American Goldfinch
