Hi everyone, A total of 7 Harlequin Ducks (including 3 drakes) were present at the West End 2 jetty this afternoon (4/15). Not much else of note in the dunes except for a singing Swamp Sparrow and a Barn Swallow among the many Trees. >From the Meadowbrook Parkway, mostly around the Jones Beach toll area at the >intersection with the end of Loop Parkway, over a dozen Boat-tailed Grackles >were prominently perched. 2 Sterna terns were briefly seen from the drawbridge >directly south of there.
