The Radar has lit up tonight, indicating a strong bird migration happening right now into the region (not completely unexpected with S/SSW Winds @ this time of year). Here is a still from about 20 minutes ago (originally posted on woodcreeper.com): http://www.rap.ucar.edu/weather/radar/nids/images/N0R/KUSA/20100506_021200.png
If you can get out tomorrow (and brave the possible isolated showers after dawn), there should be some turnover. Also, listening right now could be quite fruitful, provided that the birds haven't gotten too high in this clear sky already. Good Birding -Doug Gochfeld.
