A pleasant bird walk at Muscoot Farm was made particularly memorable
when our group flushed a flock of ~35 Bobolink out of the grasses of
the Pumpkin Field, due north of the farm proper, at about 9:25 this
morning. There was a tendency by the birds to form two discrete
flocks of equal size and composition by sex; whether some of these
pairs will choose to nest here (as they did several years ago) remains
to be seen. Muscoot, better known for its farm animals, is probably
underrated as a birding destination in Westchester County.

With Fond Regards,
\\ Arthur
