The discrepancy between the table and the database for Suffolk County is due
to an additional
location<http://ebird.org/ebird/GuideMe?cmd=decisionPage&speciesCodes=norshr&getLocations=counties&counties=US-NY-103&bYear=2010&eYear=2010&bMonth=1&eMonth=12&reportType=species&parentState=US-NY>called
"Jones Beach" which appears on the north shore of Suffolk County.
This situation should be cleared up at some point.
