Mute Swan     2  out on the ice down by the house south of the lighthouse
Common Merganser     3   flew up the river
Bald Eagle     1   adult female - carrying a large stick for the nest
Northern Harrier     1 adult male flew up the river - kept on going
Black-capped Chickadee     3   very tame - has someone been feeding them?
Winter Wren     1   skulking around and under the boardwalk over the partly
open creek;
Red-winged Blackbird     1   adult male flew in and "teed" up - went through
all the motions, but did not break out in song
