A one hour search before work this morning of Floyd Bennett's parking lots and runways was unsuccessful in finding yesterdays putative Thayer's Gull. There were over 600+ Herring scattered about the various rain pools left by yesterday's deluge. Gulls were shuttling about however and I certainly would not discourage anyone from searching further for this bird.
